Designkitchen Joins the WPP Group

Alliance with Wunderman to Deepen DK's CRM Capabilities
Designkitchen announced today that it has completed a deal to be acquired by Wunderman, the largest marketing services network in the world and part of the WPP Group.

Established in 1992, Designkitchen has grown into one of the largest independent interactive agencies in the Chicago metro area with a staff of 85 employees. With significant recent client wins such as Coventry Health Care, LodgeWorks, Marriott Vacation Club, Oprah's Angel Networks and additional work from long-standing clients Motorola and United Technologies, Designkitchen has experienced an explosive growth of nearly 300% since 2006.

Designkitchen will continue to operate under the Designkitchen brand and will retain its management team, led by founder and CEO Sam Landers.

DK Selected to Redesign United Technologies' Web Site

Revamped UTC.com to convey true performance of diversified Fortune 50 manufacturer
United Technologies recently engaged Designkitchen to redesign its corporate web site to effectively capture the company's capabilities, ethics, culture and accomplishments.

Working closely with UTC's Communications and IT teams, Designkitchen is currently in the process of developing an interactive strategy, site organization and new interface design. Scheduled to launch later this year, the new online presence will act as a dynamic channel that reflects the energy of the company, while providing a powerful complement to UTC's offline marking, PR and IR activities. Developed on the Vignette 7 content management platform, UTC.com is the third site that DK has designed for United Technologies and its businesses. Global sites for Carrier Corporation and UTC Fire & Security were both launched in 2006.

The new site clearly presents the firm's services and value proposition, while highlighting the key differentiator—Assurance's "A-Team" of service-oriented consultants.
